Kristyna Culp
Board Member
Kristyna Culp serves on the TreesUnion Board of Directors, bringing a wealth of experience from her 20-year career in corporate America and her current focus on environmental conservation and child literacy. Her professional background includes creating patient and staff-focused computer simulation models for over 100 hospitals nationwide. As a Managing Partner, her last role in the firm was as COO.
After selling the firm in 2014 and transitioning out of her role in 2017, Kristyna dedicated herself to issues of personal importance. She now serves as the Director of Habitat Builders, the local NC Wildlife Federation Chapter, and as Vice President of the Charlotte-Piedmont Chapter of Wild Ones. She is also an Extension Master Gardener volunteer in Union County, a Master Naturalist of Central Carolina, a NCWF-Habitat Steward and a Reading Tutor for the Augustine Literacy Program in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System.
Her educational background includes a B.S. in Chemistry from UNCC and an MBA with a concentration in Environmental Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This unique combination of business acumen and environmental expertise informs her passion for creating native habitats and helping others do the same.
