Deb Coates Bledsoe
Board Member

Deb Coates Bledsoe serves on the organization's Board of Directors. Her community involvement extends to her role as a Councilwoman in the Village of Wesley Chapel since 2021, following five years of service on the Village's Planning Board.

 

Deb's professional background is in journalism and education. She is an award-winning journalist with a bachelor's degree in photojournalism and an associate's degree in art from the University of South Carolina. Her career includes roles as a staff writer/photographer and lifestyle editor at the Enquirer Journal newspaper in Monroe. Deb later transitioned to education, teaching with Union County Public Schools (UCPS) before moving to the UCPS Communications Office, where she worked until her retirement in 2017.
